The Miniatures of Willow Brook

Who we are...

My husband and I are David and Lisa Hulse.  We have a large family.  The kids that are still home and involved with our miniatures are Taylor, Miranda, Matthew, MacKenzie, Katelyn and Madison.  We have other children that are older and no longer live at home; they are Nicholas, Krista and Brianna.  Nicholas is married to Kimberly and they are expecting their first child in the Spring 2010.

How we started...

Our family was looking for an interest that we all could enjoy.  While driving down a country road one day we seen a sign in front of a little red barn that advertised miniature horses for sale.  Knowing that a few of our daughters always loved horsed we stopped to see the miniature horses.  They were so cute!  So then came our first miniature horse!  We took a family vote and since our little guy wasn't registered we got to name him..."Tucker".  We begin researching how to care for miniature  horses.  It seemed from everything we read and from all the people we spoke to that this was going to be a piece of cake.  First thing was that these little guys don't like to be alone...the rest is history.  Our second purchase was "Ben".  While Tucker was still just a year old, Ben came to us when he was three years old.  After this we expanded our little farm to include "Jagger", "Mia Bella" and little "Micah".

Site Construction...

Sorry but currently we are under construction and adding new pictures everyday.  Trying to get them all organized but at this time most pictures are in the photo gallery.

Sad Day at our Miniature Horse Farm

On Saturday, March 6, 2010, we had a very sad day.  Our little "Mia Bella" passed away.  She was just under a year old.  She was our white/bay pinto filly.  The kids took this passing very hard.  She was very loved and will be missed dearly.
